FAQs

What does my child need to bring to training?

Players need to be dressed appropriately for exercise and the weather. Please bring a bottle of water, hockey stick and shinpads. Gum shields are highly recommended. If your child is just starting out, they can borrow a stick and shinpads from the club.

Where do I buy kit?

Dysynni kit can be bought through our club shop, which is usually open at the start of the season.

Do parents need to stay for the whole training session?

Not unless your child will need to go to the toilet during the session as coaches can't supervise children to the toilet.

How do I pay for sessions?

Invoices are sent out via payzip every 10 weeks. The first 3 sessions are free for new joiners.

When does a junior become a senior?

Players younger than 18 are classed as juniors, however once they reach their 13th birthday they are also eligible to play for the senior (adult) teams.

It's raining, is training on?

Unless the pitch is flooded, training will be on.
